  • NUMEFEN 3 is a Food for Special Medical Purposes based on amino acids, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. NUMEFEN 3 is indicated for the dietary management of subjects with phenylketonuria and hyperphenylalanine from the age of 8. Vanilla flavour.

DOSE AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  • The daily dose of the product must be determined by the physician and is dependent on the age, body weight and individual tolerance to phenylalanine. As standard dilution dissolve:
    1 spoon (10,5 g) in 70 mL of water = 7 g PE
    1 sachet (32 g) in 180 mL of water = 20 g PE

    Pour the water into a large and well-cleaned container, add the prescribed dose of powder and shake well until a homogeneous dispersion is obtained. The reconstituted product can be stored for a few hours. Throw away the unused product. Shake well before use.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

  • The product must be prescribed and used under medical control and it is intended for subjects aged eight or above. It is not suitable for use as the sole source of nourishment and it is not suitable for parenteral use. The product should not be given to healthy children and adults. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not take/administer in case of allergy and/or known or presumed intolerance to one or more of the ingredients.
